All the vehicles (over 3 years old) in United Kingdom must have a "Ministry of Transport Test certificate" commonly known as MOT. This is a safety requirement by the United Kingdom Government where each vehicle over the age of 3 years must undergo a specific test on yearly basis. In addition all vehicles regardless of age must have Road Tax to be allowed to drive on United Kingdom public roads.
Here at Mildenhall Carsales, all our vehicles have a pre-sales service and are provided with a full years MOT certificate "On the screen Price" In addition you will have to purchase UK Road TAX as required by UK law. This Road Tax purchase is fully reimbursed to you through your military channels (your base will be able to give you further details on how to reclaim the Road TAX)
We have our own service and repair centre, on the premises, and our after sales service is second to none. Please feel free to ask any fellow servicemen on the base at either bases Mildenhall or Lakenheath and they should endorse that for you- 90% of our business is with US military.
With regards to frequent request for finance facilities - unfortunately UK finance houses cannot advance money to the US Military. However we can provide an invoice for you to take to either the Keesler Credit Union or the Community Bank on either base and they will raise a cheque in our favour on your behalf. We have regular dealings with these companies and they are familiar with the procedure
